Full DescriptionMap of the Northern Latitudes of North America, including portions of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and depicting the area from the Great Lakes and Cape Blanco, California to the North Sea (Arctic Circle), published in 1801. The map shows the 1789 and 1793 exploration routes of Alexander Mackenzie, which are outlined in red and yellow. The map shows the Northwest Coast of Washington and British Columbia in considerable detail. Labeled features include: Pugets Sound, Tacourche Tesse or Columbia River, C. Flattery, and supposed Strait of Juan de Fuca. The map is bound into the following volume: "Voyages from Montreal on the River St. Lawrence through the Continent of North America to the Frozen and Pacific Oceans in the years 1789 and 1793, " published by Alexander Mackenzie in 1801.
